This pink apartment building in Chicago’s Bronzeville neighborhood serves as a beacon of hope for women and children escaping domestic violence. It features a daycare for residents, an enclosed courtyard for safe play, and offices offering assistance upon entering. The design includes angled roofs with windows to maximize natural light. Additionally, there is a dedicated area with donated clothing for women who have left their jobs and homes for safety. This project provides a secure haven and essential resources, creating a nurturing environment for those seeking refuge.
